R. Haris. Where do travelers turn the road…
On May 6, Renat Magzumovich Harisov will celebrate his 75th birthday: he was born on the eve of World War II, in 1941, in a teacher’s family.
For the anniversary, Renat Haris presents to admirers of his work another, less well-known facet of talent - graphic works. This is not the first time that Renat Haris has set his schedule: his works were shown in 1997 at the A. Gorky Literary and Memorial Museum in Kazan, and were included in the collection of his poems, “Writing Poems…”. The ability to work in the material, spatial vision, mastery of the composition, accurate plasticity of the line - all this suggests that Renat Haris is quite a mature master. Haris shares his mood with the viewer, in each of his work one feels a love for the discreet beauty of the homeland. The combination of simplicity and clarity of lines gives his work a unique originality and individuality. The graphics of Renat Haris allows a deeper look into the creative laboratory, to trace the birth and development of the artistic design of the poetic work, to peer into the world we love.
The exhibition, which opens at the Hazine National Art Gallery, features about 60 graphic works by Renat Haris.
The exhibition runs until May 10, 2016.
