Exhibition "Where Books Winter" Automatic translate

February 2 at the Isopark Gallery of the Exhibition Halls of Moscow Association will open the exhibition "Where the Books Winter". The exhibition will feature the work of illustrators of the children’s book of the independent community "The Magic Saw".

The Magic Saw is a community of illustrators of a children’s book that cares about the future of a children’s book. Artists are convinced that the book should be sincere, simple, deep, sincere and amazing. They look for new languages, experiment and are not afraid to be non-standard, present an adult look at a children’s book and draw something that is not ashamed to show their children.

Among the participants of the exhibition is the new generation of The Magic Saw, children of artists, for whom the very first books were drawn. This year, the Magic Saw community of artists celebrates its eleventh anniversary.

At the exhibition, one can see illustrations of both recently published books and earlier works of artists. Colored paper, cardboard, watercolor, gouache, stencil, linocut - the value of the community is that it combines many creative techniques under the sign of the book, each of which is born as a response to a specific text.

Over the years of the existence of the community, many exhibitions have been organized in museums, exhibition halls, libraries, festivals in Russia and not only. Many community illustrators have become laureates and diploma winners of Russian and international illustration contests.
