Dmitry Donskoy - photographer, photojournalist. Graduate of the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. For 45 years (from 1961 to 2006) he worked as a special correspondent of APN - RIA Novosti. He was a personal photographer of the first president of Russia B.N. Yeltsin. For more than 35 years, he specialized in one of the most complex genres of reportage photography - sports photography. Author of photos from nine Olympiads. Winner of more than 160 photographic awards. International Master of Press Photo, MOJ (International Union of Journalists) in 1983. Moscow Photographic Salon is an annual fair uniting all participants of the Russian photography market - galleries, funds and private collectors. This year the fair will be held for the third time. Almost all significant photographic institutions and collectors from Moscow and St. Petersburg take part in the Salon. Foreign participants are represented by galleries from Paris, Minsk and Brussels. The total estimate of the submitted works, compared with the previous year, has grown and amounts to more than 200 million rubles. The Salon will feature the works of such giants as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Irving Penn, Louis Faroeux, Ansel Adams. From private Russian collections will be presented the works of Lazarev, Baltermants, Chaldea, Tranquillitsky.
The salon will be held from February 11 to February 14, 2016. Working hours: from 12 to 22 hours.
