In ancient Rome, on April 28, one of the most cheerful holidays was celebrated - Floralia began - the days glorifying Flora - the goddess of youth, flowers and fertility. The anthem of life, joy, chanting of the beauty of the world around us - this theme is eternal, like life itself, and one of the most grateful in painting. Magnificent flowers, the renewal of nature, the joy of life are favorite topics of the artists’ works and so necessary for us, residents of big cities.

And we invite you to celebrate this spring holiday with us in the Mokhovaya-18 Gallery of Contemporary Art, surrounded by works by beautiful St. Petersburg artists.
