The project “The Color of Psychotria on Mont Blanc” is the result of the author observing his own perception of the most common, and sometimes everyday objects, objects, situations. The main question that is being bracketed is: “Is the world around me logical?”

Are their shape and color natural? We are used to reading the surrounding reality as a given, without analyzing, without checking it for props. In the new series of paintings, Eva Arakcheeva reinterprets the modern landscape and its pictorial mutations, studies optical illusions. The “Color of Psychotria on Mont Blanc” immerses the viewer in an irrational world in which the familiar is illogically synthesized, forming a kind of portal to a completely different world - glitch, absurdity and timelessness.

Eva Arakcheeva was born in Nizhny Tagil in 1989. In 2011, she entered the Moscow Art Theater named after Surikov to the painting department to Aidan Salakhova, and in 2014 to the Free Workshops School of Modern Art.
