Exhibition of two Petersburg artists "GENERATOR OF UNIVERSES" in the gallery Design club Automatic translate
From January 17 to February 18, 2015 there will be a joint exhibition of two Petersburg artists - Alexei Andreev (digital painting) and Igor Ivanov (techno art objects).
The exhibition will open on January 16 at 19:00.
Already now, with the development of technology, a certain tendency is observed in art, namely, a reduction in the distance between the creator and his creation. Less and less effort is required in order for the creative idea to be embodied. (For example, in digital painting, you do not need to spend time preparing the canvas, drying the paint layer, we are not limited by the number of tubes with paints, the size of the picture, etc.). Technology is less and less constraining us.
Very soon, with the development of brain-computer interfaces, with the development of devices for connecting to virtual reality (such as Oculus Rift, for which a program has already been created to create works of art in a virtual environment), as well as bioprosthetics with feedback, our creative capabilities will be able to get rid of from all limitations, and we can create new universes with a simple effort of thought.
At the “Generator of Universes” exhibition, models of starships, digital paintings and objects of space topography will be presented.
