Exhibition "The Tree of Knowledge". Artists Anna Serova and Vera Korshunova Automatic translate

The authors of the project are Moscow artists Anna Serova and Vera Korshunova, graduates of the leading art universities in the capital. They created an association "AVE project" (art | values ​​| evolution - art | values ​​| development), based on the belief in the value of academic art education, common development strategies and understanding of the need for modern forms of creativity. In the project, the artist uses and interprets the rich heritage of ancient Russian and world cultures: bas-reliefs of cathedrals in Vladimir and Yuryev-Polsky, ornamental motives of wooden architecture, color combinations of folk painting, aesthetics of naive art. They play with the decorativeness of Russian ornamentation, revealing its codes and fragments of colorful meanings that "fold" into the initial abundance of peace and myth.

What is this pictorial myth about? About the Garden of Eden, about the Tree that grows in the middle of the heavenly universe, about the structures of world and individual harmony, about everything that is hidden in the depths of human history and culture.

The "Tree of Knowledge" project is about art as a manifestation of a global archetype, about the discovery of the language of the Universe, through private admiring the harmony of the cosmos. About philosophy in paints, about painting, as an initially symbolic action that allows both the artist and the viewer to experience the very first golden morning of the world.

The exhibition will run until December 20, 2020.
