Within the framework of the Year of Literature, the Electromuseum in Rostokino, the Exhibition Halls of Moscow association will present the Digital Poet exhibition, where new technologies will open up literature from a new perspective.
What is media poetry? Is it possible to feel the metaphorical nature of the poetic text bodily or to find it in search queries on the Internet? Robot writer instead of lyric physicist?
Well-known Russian and foreign media artists will answer these questions: Oleg Makarov and Patrick K.-H., Arthur Punte, Gazira Babeli and Kurt Schwitters, Polina Kanis, Aristarkh Chernyshev and Vladislav Efimov, Nick Degtyarev, Sergey Teterin and others.
The exhibition will feature more than 20 works in genres such as video and 3D poetry, interactive installations and sculptures. Among them - the robot writer Cyber-Pushkin and a poetic chair that allows you to perceive the lyrics of the Silver Age through the vibrations of the body.
In SA)) _ gallery it will be possible to listen to “An Infinitely Interesting Play” - a new spatial sound installation of the famous sound artist Oleg Makarov.
The exhibition will host a series of literary evenings with the participation of writers working with new media.
“The Digital Poet exhibition combines the divine aura of a literary text and the devilish appeal of new media. In the figure of the digital poet, the main conflict of humanistic civilization is resolved - sensual and rational. The task of poetry is to develop the language, and the digital poet adapts it to the modern, technologically advanced world. ”
