Exhibition of paper installations "# 14 # 40" by Pavel Brother in ARMMUSE Automatic translate
From April 1 to April 27, 2015 in the creative cluster “ARTMUZA” an exhibition of paper installations “# 14 / # 44” by Pavel Brother will be held. For 10 years the artist has been turning ordinary magazine pages into voluminous art objects.
It all started with simple collages, but gradually Brother wanted space, volume and meaning. So with the fold of sheets paper art was born. The present takes a long time, so some work takes 5 years.
“First, I am looking for books. Then I tear off their covers, put them in the form of a palette, cut them into strips, make blanks from them, which I already work with. At the moment, I am a little moving away from quilling, I want to get on a form, an even larger volume, to create sculptures, ”says P. Brother.
Pavel Brother turns the meaning and makes it possible to see the world with different eyes. The works presented at the exhibition are part of a large project that the artist has been creating for almost four years.
