Lamps are a favorite object of creativity of designers, architects, artists, because the very theme of the “light source” is very capacious and inexhaustible in its artistic expressiveness. The search for beautiful, original and creative solutions inspires experimentation with form and material.
Exhibitions of fixtures are regularly held in large cities, but usually they are focused on large construction and design studios that produce lighting products for indoor and outdoor spaces. The exhibition art project "In Search of the Light" focuses on the non-production approach to the development of lighting fixtures, author and piece work. Here, these are not just lamps, they are objects where light plays a major role in the artistic image. The exhibition presents the creative work of Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk ceramic artists, both young artists and students, as well as well-known authors, held artists: Tatyana Eroshenko, Elena Krasnova, George Borisov, Ales Migas, Svetlana Uvarova.
Each artist in his own way sees the theme of light and reveals it in his works. For some, light is a powerful internal energy that fills a natural object, for some it is an additional expressive means, for some it is a mystical natural phenomenon, for someone it is a semantic center of composition. The exhibition shows how light can be varied in its depth, mood and effects.
The exhibition of copyright fixtures "In Search of the World" was located in the department of the Irkutsk Regional Art Museum - "The Estate of V. P. Sukachev." The exhibition will last until November 22. Tickets cost from 10 rubles for preschoolers to 100 rubles for adults.
