“Music of Color” is a joint project of two closely related creative personalities: painter Ashot Khachatryan and composer, arranger, pianist Armen Sargsyan. At the exhibition, musical works organically complement the paintings. In the combination of painting and music, a new work of art will appear, aesthetically affecting each viewer.
Famous Petersburg artist Ashot Khachatryan will present about thirty paintings made in recent years. Monumental panel landscapes represent not a specific place, but a synthesized image in which the master has invested a whole gamut of feelings - be it joy and love of life or emotional drama and longing. Canvases in the still life genre are striking with a riot of color - images of juicy watermelon, ripe fruits, bright, eye-catching bouquets. Ashot Khachatryan’s portraiture is expressive and diverse. The portrait of St. Petersburg pianist Polina Fradkina, perfectly conveying her creative manner of performing musical works, will be shown at the exhibition as a reflection of the project’s idea - a fusion of music and color.
Within the framework of this project, a musical evening will be held, where the works of Armen Sargsyan will be performed.
The date will be announced later.
