Project “Aivazovsky. Genius and the Sea ”was developed by the R-ART team for a whole year. For a multimedia film lasting 40 minutes with the assistance of eminent art experts and experts on the work of I.K. Aivazovsky from the Feodosia Picture Gallery, a unique script was created in which carefully selected, including the rarest, facts of the life and work of marine painter No. 1 in the world were combined. And museums - first of all, Theodosia Picture Gallery, founded by Aivazovsky himself, but also the Russian Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery and a number of other museums throughout Russia - provided more than 60 originals, which were converted to digital format. And now they will appear before the visitor of the exhibition on huge panoramic canvases and screens of various configurations, creating the effect of a real presence in the paintings, among the surging waves and looming water blocks.

However, the multimedia film is unique in that, which is not limited only to the marine themes of the work of Ivan Aivazovsky. Numerous canvases of the painter are known on historical and religious themes, mainly related to the country and people to which the artist belonged ethnically - beautiful Armenia, which is a little-known fact of his creative biography.
