On December 2, in the Gallery of Siberian Art (Karl Marx St., 23), Vladimir Beshnov’s personal exhibition "Water area of creativity", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the artist, starts working. The exposition includes more than 40 works of unique graphics and design works. The main part of the exhibition is made up of landscapes created by the author based on impressions from travels in Russia, Mongolia and Korea.
Member of the Union of Artists of Russia (since 1990), teacher with many years of experience, Honorary Professor of the Mongolian State University of Culture and Art Vladimir Beshnov is a permanent organizer of international plein airs in Mongolia and Korea. Also, the artist has been engaged in rafting on catamarans and rafts on mountain rivers for many years. In landscape works, Vladimir Beshnov talks about the greatness and beauty of nature, sometimes in his works there is a sad reflection about the passing time.
The exhibition also features design works dedicated to the history of the 20th century - the military conflict at Khalkhin Gol and the Great Patriotic War. The series dedicated to the concentration camps is especially significant for the artist, since the artist’s mother was a participant in these events.
