Parents - People’s Artist of the MSSR Vladislav Andreevich Obukh and Honored Art Worker of the MSSR, laureate of the State Prize of the MSSR Zazerskaya Wilhelmina Dmitrievna.

1969-72 - Leningrad Art and Pedagogical College named after V. Serova.
