The images at work are ironic, or serious and poetic. Paradoxes are life itself, into which we are often afraid to look - through personal reflections to philosophical generalizations. In expressive philosophical works, color is almost always the main element of artistic symbolism (although there are monochrome solutions). It is not only the narrative that is important, but also the color through which this narrative is conveyed: "Half-life", "Sisyphus", "Head of an alien god", "Centaur". Color warns: you are in the space of absurdity.

Vyacheslav Olegovich Glinsky was born in 1968 in Usolye-Sibirskoye, Irkutsk region. In 1983-87 he studied at the Irkutsk Art School under LB Gimov at the Department of Painting and Pedagogy. In 2010 he graduated from ISTU with a degree in art history. Member of the All-Russian Creative Public Organization "Union of Artists of Russia" since 2002.

For active creative work he was awarded the Silver Medal of the Union of Artists of Russia, diplomas of the Russian Academy of Arts and the Union of Artists of Russia.

Scholar of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation for 2004 and 2017. Diploma-recipient and laureate of large-scale exhibitions. Laureate of the Governor of the Irkutsk Region Prize for achievements in the field of culture and art in 2011

The main areas of activity are painting, philosophical expressionism, landscape, scenography, teaching.
