On June 10, at 5:00 p.m., the Lumiere Brothers Photography Center, together with the British Higher School of Design, invites Ilya Lokshin, curator of the Our Home project.
More details:
“… Each child reacted differently to us and to the shooting. For example, I took a picture of a guy who allowed me to take only three frames. Someone was very social, someone did not trust and checked. We were constantly asked why we are doing this and where these photos will go. Each participant in the project has a story, by the way, in addition to photographs, there will be small texts for each participant at the exhibition. In my opinion, these texts very much describe the process of shooting and relationships. I know that many project participants still communicate.
I invite you to the Lumiere Brothers Photography Center, where I will show photos that were not included in the general exposition, tell about my personal experience and tell you why and how we made this project.
1) My selection. What photos did I choose and why
2) Demonstration of photographs not included in the exposition
3) How to photograph children and what you can talk about with them
4) Why is it important for a young photographer to participate in such projects
5) What did I expect from the exhibition and what will happen next with this project… "
