Exclusive concert program “Bach Hour. Love the world! ”, Prepared by the outstanding musician - violinist and conductor Vladimir Spivakov for the first time will sound in the Northern capital and will become a real Christmas present for all fans of the maestro, as well as true musical aesthetes.
On December 19, at 19.00, the St. Petersburg audience will have a rare chance to hear the spiritual works of Johann Sebastian Bach, not in the usual orchestral performance for the modern listener, but in the traditional style of home music playing for the composer. Such a non-trivial presentation of musical material in the masterly performance of remarkable musicians was very enthusiastically received by the public in many countries of the world.
Together with Vladimir Teodorovich, the program will be performed by soloists of the orchestras headed by him: artists of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia violinist Timur Pirverdiev and pianist Zoya Abolits, as well as cellist of the Moscow Virtuosi chamber orchestra Dmitry Prokofiev. Decoration of the evening will be the performance of the soloist of the New Opera Theater Anastasia Belukova.
It is noteworthy that in such a chamber composition of performers, Maestro Spivakov performed in Petersburg exactly 60 years ago, at the very beginning of his career.
The concert was organized by SPb GBUK Petersburg Concert.
