Virtual project "Hall of virtual reality. Artist’s workshop" in the Kaluga Museum Automatic translate
The main goal of the project is to promote digital solutions based on virtual reality technology, which has a high degree of emotional impact and allows you to significantly expand the possibilities of representing the Kaluga cityscape in fine art, and also serves as the basis for educating young people and schoolchildren in the spirit of love for their small homeland, as well as an innovative approach to educational work based on the use of a new format of interactive exposition as part of the digitalization of museum activities.
The participant finds himself in the artist’s studio, located in the attic. Around brushes, paints, and an easel. There are four large windows here. Outside the windows are various city landscapes, which are images of paintings from the museum’s collection. Each window is associated with some direction in art: classical painting, impressionism, modernism, contemporary art. The participant goes to the window, and then reproduces the seen picture on canvas or models a collage. A work appears on the wall in the form in which it was written by the artist. Actions are limited in time, so the game participant needs to use all the possibilities of virtual reality, including teleportation.
The project will run on an ongoing basis.
