The project "Old and New" was invented in the "Studio No. 6" of the medical rehabilitation department at the City Psychiatric Hospital No. 6. Like the first project in this series - “About Antiquity”, held in the Borey Gallery with the support of the Committee on Culture of St. Petersburg in 2015, it is about the history of art.

The exhibits of the project “Old and New” are interpretations of biblical stories, with a special, strictly personal perception of each artist, demonstrating a free, sincere, non-canonical, artistic vision of the Old and New Testaments.

The exhibition will feature the work of rehabilitants aged 18 to 90, residents of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. The project will host a master class with the participation of professional artists of St. Petersburg.

The art studio at GPB No. 6 was formed in 2005. In February 2012, workshops of the medical rehabilitation department at GPB No. 6 were opened, which are based on the experience of previous years. The main activities of the workshops are painting, graphics, sculpture, ceramics, theater, animation, textiles.
