An evening of modern dance at the Cookhouse: PDT Solution, Alexandra Rudik, Outside the box Automatic translate

On October 22, at 19:00 in the Cooking Hall, a show of two dance site-specific performances staged by modern choreographers accompanied by a live performance by Outside the Box and video art will take place. Project participants will try to provide their own interpretation of the architecture of the empty space on the territory of the existing brewery.

About the participants

Evgenia Glazunova in 2011 created her own project Physical Dance Theater Solution in the search for new physical forms and is the director and choreographer. It is a constant search that allows you to create projects whose frameworks are unlimited; ballet, performance, mystery, multimedia action - all these genres are intertwined, creating a creative space. The project does not have permanent artists, and therefore it is always a new team creating a unique action here and now, which will not be repeated again.

Outside the Box is an experimental musical group from Moscow that uses a variety of styles from 1960s rock to modern electronics. There are no sound restrictions. Use ethnic instruments, prepared guitars, classics, drum machines, synthesizers and everyday objects

Alexandra Rudik In 2007 she graduated from the Kiev National University of Culture and Arts, the department of directing and choreography, the department of classical and modern choreography. In 2007-2008, she trained at the Dance Conservatory in Prague. In 2002-2007 she was a soloist of the Constellation Theater of Modern Choreography, choreographer A. Rekhviashvili (Kiev). She took part in the play “Kinetic” theater “The Old Woman and” (dir. A. Pepelyaev) and in the project of A. Barteniev “Three Sisters”.

At the International Center for Dance and Performance "Workshop" oversees the children’s dance company "TSEH-1" and teaches modern dance. She staged a number of performances in Kiev, Sevastopol, Tula and Moscow. Since 2009, she has been working at the Moscow Ballet Theater.
