"Inspiration. Winter "- a special project of the International Festival of Arts" Inspiration ", which traditionally takes place at VDNKh, will be held for the first time at the country’s Main Exhibition outside the summer season from November 26 to December 12, 2021.

Festival “Inspiration. Winter ”is dedicated to the themes of family and friendship of peoples, and unites theater groups from the regions of Russia and the CIS countries. In the festival program, viewers will be able to see performances from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, as well as from Astrakhan, Arkhangelsk, Krasnodar and St. Petersburg.

The program included directors’ and children’s art laboratories, as well as a professional program. The director’s laboratories will present sketches of performances based on the tales of the small peoples of the North. Danil Chashchin, Radion Bukaev and Leonid Prokofiev are working on them.

Within the framework of the festival, two premieres will take place - on December 10, the musical project of the famous actor and producer Andrei Fomin "Clowns Orchestra" will be presented - a unique concept that combines the performance by musicians in the form of clowns of melodies in the style of an ironic theatrical cabaret and the vocals of the popular, familiar to many on the television show "Voice ", Singer Bogdan Kiyashko. And on December 11 and 12 - the premiere of the scientific play "How to Create the Universe" by Vyacheslav Ignatov and Marina Litvinova (a joint project of the International Festival of Arts "Inspiration" and the Theater "Trickster"), and the show of the summer premiere of the International Festival of Arts "Inspiration" - performance-lunch " Kolkhoz Woman and Worker ”by Evgeny Malenchev based on the play of the same name by Mikhail Chevega.

The project starts on November 26 with the screening of the musical performance “From the Life of Insects” by Belarusian director Svetlana Ben, balancing genre between epic drama and children’s counting rhymes, ragtime and operatic tragedy.

Next in the program is the detective drama "Christopher" directed by Samson Movsesyan from the Yerevan Puppet Theater based on the novel "The Mysterious Night Murder of a Dog" by Mark Heddon. This is a touching story about a fifteen-year-old autistic boy from Great Britain who investigates the mysterious murder of a dog and helps viewers to look at reality with different eyes.

The one-man show "Bury Me Behind the Skirting Board" by Roman Boklanov from the St. Petersburg Bolshoi Puppet Theater is a story about the childhood of Sasha Savelyev, who lives with his grandparents in a house full of tyrannical love and despotism. The main characters are close relatives who are at war with each other for the right to love.

The complex plot of the epic "The Tale of the Odyssey" from the Arkhangelsk Drama Theater is adapted for the little ones, and the performance takes place in a deliberately everyday narrative.

The touching story of the boy Zhora, who is a little different from everyone else, and his always busy parents will be shown in the play "Zephyr Zhora" by the Kazakh Theater ARTiSHOK.

The play “Dead Souls” by Andrey Radochinsky from the Astrakhan Theater for Young Spectators continues to answer the eternal questions “Rus! what do you want from me? Where are you rushing? "

In the play "Animal Stories" of the Krasnodar Youth Theater, the real life of animals was mixed with the surreal, and the animals themselves became a metaphor. What they share are deeply personal topics and fears that a person rarely talks about out loud.

In the children’s art laboratory "From the Aleuts to the Eskimos through the theater" Elena Gorina will tell about the customs, beliefs, peculiarities of life and cultural heritage of the peoples of the North. Children will be able to learn about Abazins, Aleuts, Besserians, Vepsians. Explore and immerse yourself in the life of the Koryaks, Itelmens, Evenks. Every day they will have an amazing story, a new ceremony, a new costume and a new fairy tale. At the end of the laboratory, the participants will stage their performance based on the knowledge they received during the class.

In the Kitchen of the World animation laboratory, young animators led by Daria Vyatkina and Maria Aligozhina will be able to create their own cartoon - the process of cooking dishes from different countries of the world. Participants will learn what the drawing technique and transfer (stop motion) are, and what the whole process of cartoon production consists of.

Children in the "Plasticine Journey to the Stars" laboratory, together with their curator Olga Gulevich, will get acquainted with poems and stories about stars and space. Everyone can choose a space hero and mold him from plasticine.

And in a two-day professional program, curated by Artur Ghukasyan, leading Russian and foreign experts and practitioners will tell you how to stage a performance in a variety of street locations: from railway tracks to the roof of a skyscraper.

“In the summer, due to pandemic restrictions, we could not show performances from other countries. Now we are catching up - theaters from Armenia, Belarus and Kazakhstan will come to Moscow. The program of performances by Russian theaters, including the Krasnodar Youth Theater, the Bolshoi Puppet Theater from St. Petersburg, the Astrakhan Youth Theater and the Arkhangelsk Drama Theater, is composed of works of different genres, but in each of these performances there is an honest and fascinating conversation about the most important, about the value of personal experience and about love for loved ones.
