On October 1, in 85 regions of Russia and more than 60 countries of the world, registration for the Living Classics International Competition for Young Readers began. Participants are required to select a passage from their favorite prose book and, having memorized it, read aloud. Finalists of the competition receive permits to the Artek International Children’s Center, and the super final takes place on Red Square in Moscow. True, in order to perform in the main square of the country, it is necessary to overcome many stages.
