In search of a gold lyre
The premiere of a musical performance based on the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.
Once upon a time, so long ago, so long ago that even time then flowed in the opposite direction, the people lived on the earth, whom the Greeks called. This people created a powerful and rich civilization - Ancient Greece or Hellas, which became famous for the greatest discoveries in science, literature and art. Admire not only the magnificent buildings, beautiful antique wall paintings and marble statues, but also great works of literature, as well as legends that have survived to this day - the myths of Ancient Greece, revealing a fabulous world of heroes and gods, terrible monsters and animals. This world is surprising in that, despite people’s fear of the greatness of the immortal gods of Olympus, the inhabitants of Hellas sometimes challenged them, arguing with them, and sometimes even won.
You can watch such an extraordinary fairy tale story performed by young artists of the Petersburg Concert. In this performance, which was invented and directed by the director Boris Wojciechowski, the author’s costumes are used by the artist Tatyana Malkova, the original choreography of the choreographer Vera Egorova, amazing and unforgettable music.
