Alexander Ivanovich Larin was born in Leninskiye Gorki, Moscow Region, in 1956. Graduate of the Moscow Institute of Management. At the Faculty of Social Professions, he received a second specialty, artist-designer.

The first lessons in fine art were at school, in the fine art circle, then in the art studio. He completed an internship at the school of folk art in Moscow, in the village of Krasny Stroitel, in the painting class. In 1972, the first personal exhibition of works was held in the city of Naro-Fominsk under the name "Landscapes of the native land". After graduating from the institute, he worked as an artist designer at the House of Officers of the Kantemirovskaya Division.
From 1958 to 1972, Alexander Ivanovich and his parents lived on the territory of the Litvinovo sanatorium, on the bank of the Nara River (the former estate of the princes Shcherbatov, which S. Yesenin visited many times). Constant admiration of the magnificence of the surrounding nature could not leave the impressionable young man indifferent. The master’s favorite themes are natural landscapes and water. The author’s works are imbued with kindness and light. Communication with the outstanding master of landscape Mikhail Vasilyevich Kupriyanov, who was one of the members of the legendary creative team of graphic artists and painters "Kukryniksy", had a significant influence on his creativity and the formation of his interests in art. Also, with the famous artist restorer of the Borodino panorama Mikhail Fedorovich Ivanov-Churonov, and the chief architect of Moscow Kirill Nikolaevich Kalayda, a skilled master of pastel painting.
Over the past 10 years, the master has held personal exhibitions in various cities of Russia, as well as participated in multiple collective exhibitions. Alexander Ivanovich completed an internship at the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after Surikov at the Russian Academy of Arts. Member of the Creative Union of Artists of the DPI.
