MOSCOW. At the Academy of Motion Picture and Theater Arts N. S. Mikhalkov opens the official acceptance of applications for training for the 2020/2021 academic year under the programs for the preparation of additional professional education: "Acting Art in Modern Conditions", "Art of Directing in the 21st Century", "Producer - Century 21". Applicants who have successfully passed creative tests will be able to study at the N. S. Mikhalkov Academy for free * throughout the entire period, thanks to the support of the Elena and Gennady Timchenko Charitable Foundation.

An important condition for admission to the Academy of N.S. Mikhalkov is the observance of a number of requirements: the presence of a higher profile professional education in the field of specialties: actor, director or producer (the profile of producers is determined individually), as well as experience in professional activity.

The initial selection of students will be held according to the profiles sent. There are two ways to apply for training. The first is to fill out an online application form on the Academy’s official website www.academynsm.ru. The second is to download it, and then, after answering the questions of the questionnaire, send it to the email address: anketa@academynsm.ru. For an acting workshop, it is necessary to fill out a questionnaire in video format (showril). For the director - it is necessary to provide a synopsis of the future diploma film and an autobiography in the form of art. Producers must attach an arbitrary essay to the questionnaire, reflecting the creative potential of the applicant.

The admission campaign will cover the whole country. As part of the work of the selection committee, from April to May 2020, Irkutsk, Astrakhan, Chelyabinsk, Cheboksary and Yoshkar-Ola will host visiting regional castings - an all-Russian educational special project that has been carried out for several years already in the framework of cooperation with the Elena and Gennady Timchenko Charitable Foundation. For young specialists from the regions this is a chance not only to express themselves, to reveal their professional potential and replenish “cultural baggage”, but also to get the opportunity to “rise to a new professional level” - to receive training at the Academy on a preferential basis (free of charge, due to the support of the Charity Foundation of Elena and Gennady Timchenko).

The final stage of the campaign will be a creative interview, which is conducted in person and will be held in August 2020. Persons who have successfully completed all the preliminary stages will be admitted to it.

Studying at the Academy includes several educational stages, which will include lectures, practical classes in specialized disciplines, meetings with prominent figures of culture and art. As a result of mastering the educational program, graduates of the Academy who have successfully passed the final certification will receive a diploma of additional professional education in the corresponding area of ​​professional activity. Upon completion of training at the Academy, students will present a unique creative product ¬– ¬¬ films, performances as a final work.
