"The estate of V.P. Sukachev" participates in the action "Day at the Museum for Russian Cadets" Automatic translate
The Irkutsk Art Museum has joined the action “Museum Day for Russian Cadets”, which will be held across the country on October 14, 2016. By decision of the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Russian Military Historical Society, this action has the status of an all-Russian one and provides for free visits to museums by Suvorovites and cadets - future defenders of the Fatherland. The date is not random. October 14, 1842 was born V.V. Vereshchagin, one of the best graduates of the St. Petersburg Naval Cadet Corps. By the way, in the collection of the Irkutsk Art Museum there is one of the works of this author - the sketch “Kuril Islands”.
As part of the action, students from the Usol Guards Cadet Corps will visit the museum. A program has been prepared for them in one of the museum branches - in the "Estate of V.P. Sukachev." In addition to the story about the life of the Sukachev family and acquaintance with the exhibits of the estate, guests will find a "Lesson in the old school." Cadets will feel like schoolchildren of past centuries: they will try writing instruments of different eras - from a pen to a typewriter, solve simple mathematical problems, and get acquainted with etiquette of the 19th century.
