On November 1, a large concert of Buryat pop stars will take place at the Central House of Culture of Railway Workers, at Komsomolskaya Square, 4.
Leading creative groups and soloists of Ulan-Ude will present the culture, history, customs of Ulan-Udeans. The stage will feature artists of the world famous Buryat national song and dance theater “Baikal”, unique “gutta-percha girls” of the Buryat circus, the legendary family choir, Cossack ensemble and many others.
Prior to the performance, at 15.00. An exhibition of goods from Buryatia will take place in the lobby of the house of the Central House of Culture of Railway Workers. Leading Ulan-Ude food and processing enterprises will bring stew, salted, smoked and dried fish (Baikal omul), sausages, dairy products and sweets to Moscow. Here it will be possible to taste wild plants from the shores of Lake Baikal. Manufacturers have prepared for residents of the Russian capital blueberry jam, jams and juices from sea buckthorn, pine nuts and much more.
Also at the exhibition will be presented bronze sculptures, souvenirs, decorative plates and author panels, designed in the national style. For the first time, Muscovites will be able to try on and buy shoes from Buryatia: boots from the legendary Naran company and high boots from the manufacturer Gutal.
Organizers of the exhibition expect guests to be interested in toys telling legends about Lake Baikal in Buryat, Russian and English.
Here will be a presentation of tourist routes of Buryatia. City tourism will be presented by the revived statues decorating Ulan-Ude: Bators (Buryat heroes) and Hospitable Buryatia. The role of the revived monuments will be played by the artists of the Theater of Plastic Improvisations Ulan-Ude. Especially for the event, the Bators will be dressed in new suits of bronze color with elements of national military uniforms: armor, a bow, spears, quivers and arrows.
Also, guests of the festival will be able to attend a reception at the Buddhist Lama-astrologer. He will answer questions from visitors and give recommendations for the future.
Note, the Days of Culture of the city of Ulan-Ude in Moscow will last until November 8th. Then the artists will go to St. Petersburg.
