Graduates of the Studio of Konstantin Raikin of the Moscow Art Theater School (2013), and now the actors of the leading theaters in Moscow, have come together again to play their favorite performance. ) The Moscow audience already knows these talented young artists not only in their outstanding theatrical works, but also in major roles in films and television series. But the main thing for any artist is, of course, the stage, the magic of the theater that takes possession of everyone, regardless of which side of the ramp it is on. And on February 15, the "Raikins" are ready to share this magic with you.
The Desire tram is one of the most brilliant plays of the 20th century and, undoubtedly, the most famous creation of Tennessee Williams, which in Russia is called the “American Chekhov”. This story is about different facets of virtue and different life principles, about a broken female destiny, about confronting fragility and tenderness to an animal principle, about love, dreams, secret desires that seem to take us on a tram in an unknown direction and you never know at what stop come down.
Director Alexei Guskov and choreographer Igor Pivorovich managed to masterfully combine in one play a deep psychological drama and a real plastic theater, when dance, movement, sometimes, are much more sincere and expressive of any word, without a single attempt to remove it from the material. On the contrary, real tears are pouring here, real dishes are beating, unless the characters speak the original language.
