All four generations of artists of this dynasty are the successors of the Russian realistic school of painting. The exhibition presents the works of the Honored Artist of the RSFSR Konstantin Ivanovich Finogenov (1902 - 1989), his wife Vera Alexandrovna Orlova (1904 - 1993), their daughter, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Mlada Konstantinovna Finogenova, her wife, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Vyacheslav Konstantinovich Stekolshchikov, their grandson, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Anton Vyacheslavovich Stekolshchikov and their great-granddaughter Ksenia Antonovna Stekolshchikova. Not so often in the history of art there are creative dynasties, where each of its representatives, while maintaining devotion to the traditions of the Russian realistic school, leaves its own unique mark. The Glazier-Finogenov-Orlova dynasty is one of them. All the artists of this family reflected the history of our country in their works for almost a century.
