Dance performance "To the Man" and the performance of the project "Children to Children" Automatic translate

On January 21, at 16.00, the Lumiere Brothers Center for Photography, together with TSEH-1, invites you to the performance of the project “To the Man” and the performance of the project “Children to Children”.

The dance company TSEH-1 is a group of children 9-11 years old, engaged in contemporary dance professionally. These children actively participate in festivals and dance trips, create performances and performances together with the best Russian and foreign choreographers, directors and artists.

As part of the exhibition, the guys will show their premiere performance “To the Man”, which appeared on the stage in November 2016, and also talk about modern dance in their own words and conduct a contemporary dance master class for their peers (and everyone who wants it).

“To the Man” (25 min)

- The play is a message, a message from person to person, transmitted through movement, attention, atmosphere. This is a story about a man and the time in which he moves forward thanks to humanity. In the process of preparing the play, the young artists discussed the relationship that is possible between man and man. They watched others and others, which was the basis of the work.

“Children to Children” (45 min)

- dance performance, a master class and a lecture on modern dance. In the dance performance “Tsvetanstvo”, the children will paint the interior space with their thoughts, sensations, imagination and movement. The dancers invite the audience to a joint research journey: how can the space from our presence change? Can we change ourselves because of the space around us? After the performance, the guys will share their thoughts on the topic “what is contemporary dance?” And invite everyone (peers and not) to transform the space around with the help of movement.

Children’s dance companies TSEH-1 and TSEH-2 were created in 2012 on the basis of the TSEH Contemporary Dance Center under the guidance of Alexandra Rudik, the head of the children’s direction of the TSEH School of Modern Dance and the artist of the contemporary troupe of the Ballet Moscow Theater, as well as the organizer of the Dance Weekend dance trips.

Since its foundation, thanks to Alexandra, about 12 dance performances of various subjects have been created, which were shown at the ZIL Cultural Center, the Meyrhold Center, in Luzhniki, at the Start Up children’s festival, as well as at the Open Stage shows and the Workshop of the Dance School. The project “Children to Children”, launched in April 2016, has already managed to visit the sites of the Children’s Center of the Museum of Moscow, the Green School and the Hermitage Garden as part of the Seasons Festival.
