For several hours, the exhibition will include the exhibition “Model for a new life, scale 1: 1. Vanguard on Shabolovka ”will turn into a real stage venue.

In the first part of the program, the audience will have an excursion - an immersion in the history of the Shabolovka district - the ideal world of the 1920s - early 1930s. Innovative buildings for various purposes, the reformed reality of the Soviet Union in its entirety: social life, anti-religious propaganda, a new school and much more. Famous dance critic and journalist Ekaterina Vasenina will tell about free forms of dance that began to actively develop and change during the 1920s and 30s.

In the second part of the program, Denis Boroditsky and BDDC dancers will offer viewers to think about the relationship of their body with space (after all, in essence, the body is the same architectural object as any building or structure). BDDC soloists will fill and revitalize the gallery space, give plastic objects full plasticity, art plots will gain new meanings, and viewers will be able to re-see the gallery space and exposition.

Denis Boroditsky began his dance career as a soloist of the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble named after I.A. Moiseeva. In 1995-2001 he was a soloist and Dance Captain in the world famous show "Riverdance". In 2001-2004 he was the lead soloist of the troupe Bill T. Jones / Arnie Zane Dance Company (USA). Upon returning to Moscow, he founded his own dance company Boroditsky Dennis Dance Company. During the existence of BDDC, more than 30 productions have been created, from miniatures to full-length performances. Many of them were awarded prizes at international competitions and festivals, including the Golden Mask National Theater Award nomination (2010). He is an active teacher - both in Russia and abroad, including the USA, France, Austria. Member of the jury of dance competitions and international festivals.

Ekaterina Vasenina - curator of events in the field of contemporary dance, lecturer in the history and theory of free forms of dance, dance critic, journalist (Ballet, Novaya Gazeta, Nezavisimaya Gazeta, Theater), author of Russian Modern dance. Boroditsky Dennis Dance Company was established in 2006.
