The earliest layer is represented by songs of the 16th - 17th centuries, however, songs of the 18th - early 19th centuries are no less interesting. The collector was the first to study songs after the time of Peter the Great: about the Seven Years War, about Suvorov, about Stepan Razin and Pugachev. The composition of the folklore collection of Kireevsky included songs from Simbirsk, Orenburg, Ryazan, Tula, Tver, Kaluga, Kostroma, Saratov, Voronezh, Pskov, Oryol, Nizhny Novgorod, Tambov, Minsk provinces.

The exhibition presents paintings and drawings from the collection of the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts: works by N. A. Lyubchenko, P. N. Shlyapin, D. I. Ivanov, I. N. Kamyshanskaya.

For visitors, the exhibition will run from October 23, 2015 to November 29, 2015.
