The project “Station without stopping” offers a glimpse of the avant-garde not in alienated museum-historical terms that create the value of works by placing them in a sterile vacuum of designed admiration, but in the context of everyday life, through which the artist breaks through to radical artistic solutions.
Work “Station without stopping. Kuntsevo ”was written by Malevich in 1913, when he, guided by financial considerations, remained in Nemchinovka. Fully constrained by the means, he painted three paintings, using shelves from the whatnot, linking these specific furniture objects with the place in which he found himself. An exhibition project of the same name reveals the environment of everyday life as a material that can be transformed into an object of artistic sight. The artists involved in the project explore situations where art and living conditions are woven into a single context, where the whole world becomes a workshop, and mastery is part of abandonment into the elements of everyday life. Artists live the world of Nemchinovka and Kuntsevo, proving the inseparability of a work of art from the places in which they are created.
