On October 5, in the gallery of contemporary art "theHARASHO" of the International Center for Theater Arts "Golden Key" will open the exhibition "Fairy Tales on Silk" by the artist from Kerch Lubava Taradai.
The artist will present 38 works made in the mixed batik technique - cold batik, hot batik, contour painting, summer embroidery. The hot batik technique is favorite, according to the author, it is more “lively” and unpredictable, it allows you to create a variety of textures on the fabric, but at the same time requires certain skills, craftsmanship and great patience.
All the works of Lyubava Taradai can be divided into conditional series: “Flowers”, “Animals”, “Architecture” and “Portraits”.
The name of the exhibition - “Tales on Silk” - emphasizes its concept: the artist will entice the guests of the gallery into his world of color and artistic images with the help of fairy tales.
Each picture presented in the “HARASHO” gallery will be accompanied by a small author’s story, which will quickly and interestingly convey to the viewer the subtle attitude of the Crimean artist.
