Family values through the lens: the all-Russian photo exhibition MFamilia "Family. One world, a million stories" will open in the center of Moscow.
From May 3 to 30, in the heart of Moscow, in the Bright Photo Market gallery in GUM on Red Square, the all-Russian photo exhibition MFamilia “Family: One World, a Million Stories” will be held, dedicated to the International Day of Families.

The exhibition aims to unite art and culture, to form an important dialogue about family, childhood and the main family values. Viewers will be able to get acquainted with the works of talented Russian photographers from Russia and Belarus and appreciate their skills, see how authors from different parts of the country interpret one common theme - family.
Each of the 50 photographs at the exhibition is not just a snapshot, it is a story about life and happiness, about love and support. The exhibition covers all stages of the family path: from the first steps of a baby to adulthood, joyful and touching moments of family holidays. Photographers preserve in the frame stories of care and love, which form the basis of any family union and help to realize how important these connections are for each person, emphasize the significance of the transfer of cultural traditions from generation to generation.
“When organizing this photo exhibition, my goal was to create an emotional connection between viewers and art through the stories presented in the photographs. Pictures dedicated to important family moments evoke deep emotions and associations, encouraging viewers to remember and rethink their own childhood and the childhood of their children. Visiting the exhibition can become a catalyst for internal reflection on the meaning of family and its role in life,” says Yulia Melentyeva, curator of the exhibition and founder of MFamilia.
The photo exhibition on the theme of family and children reminds us that, despite all the difficulties and challenges, it is the family that remains the foundation of life and the source of strength for each person. A visit to the exhibition will allow viewers to return to these origins and realize the value of simple but significant episodes from the past.
We invite everyone to be a part of this event and to get acquainted with the wealth of family stories captured in photographs. Don’t miss the chance to see how photography can tell about the love, support and strength of family, which is the foundation of any society.
