On September 26–30, 2018, in Moscow, in the Ivanovo Hall of the Russian State Library, the Salon of High Art and Design will be held - the only event in Russia that combines fine arts, the latest design achievements and jewelery products. Works of painting and arts and crafts will be presented in Moscow by leading world-class galleries. The exhibition is open for free visits from September 26 to 30 from 12:00 to 18:00. As part of the salon, visitors will be offered free tours and a program of public discussions with the participation of art historians, designers, collectors and professional journalists. Discussions will be held in the Ivanovo Hall on September 26–27 from 16:00 to 17:30 and September 28 from 15:00 to 16:30.
Among the exhibitors of the salon is the famous Parisian gallery Le Minotaure, which presents at the largest international fairs paintings by world-famous Russian and Central European artists of the first half of the 20th century. For almost half a century, the Vallois Gallery has been working with original works of decorative art and furniture in the Art Deco style and recognized as the best in its field both in the European and American art markets, will present the designer furniture of the legendary Jacques-Emile Rulman. The Lucas Ratton Gallery, specializing in African art, will feature exclusive ritual sculptures.
The best examples of fine and decorative art in the style of Art Nouveau and Art Deco will be presented at the salon thanks to Robert Zekhil, the largest specialist in Art Nouveau art, who recently opened a gallery in Monte Carlo. Maison d’Art, one of the most prestigious galleries in the international art market, will present works by Parmigianino, El Greco and Titian to the salon. KD Fine Art Gallery, specializing in the masterpieces of European modernism, will bring to Moscow a unique collection of impressionists, including “Woman’s Portrait”
Pierre Auguste Renoir, which depicts Gabriella Renard, and the picture "Winter in Giverny" by Claude Monet; and gallery owner Stanislas Burgen, in love with contemporary art, will demonstrate the work of representatives of a new generation of Russian and Ukrainian artists, so far poorly represented abroad. Helmut Koller’s workshop will present vibrant animalistic works by a contemporary Austrian artist whose works adorn many western collections, including Kensington Palace. Finally, ABA’s New York gallery, well-known in our country, engaged in Russian art, will be presented by canvases by Ivan Shishkin, Natalia Goncharova, Alexandra Exter and other famous artists.
Among the design companies participating in the show, original furniture and interior solutions proposed by the Hom Le Xuan Gallery and exquisite gallery products deserve special attention.
Renė Bouchara with prestigious institutions. The precious core of this section will be made up of unique pieces by Russian jewelers led by Ilgiz Fazulzyanov, whose works are stored in the collections of the Moscow Kremlin Museums and the Moscow Diamond Fund. Bright designer work, attracting Hollywood stars with sophisticated patterns and original materials, will be presented by New York jewelry brand Bochic. Some works by old masters at the salon will be presented by Berko Gallery, Fine Paintings. According to the organizers, the salon will become a new place for meeting collectors, galleries and museums, as well as art lovers, in which visitors will personally get acquainted with the greatest masterpieces of world art and design collections.

The salon of high art and design will be held in the Ivanovo Hall of the Russian State Library, which opened after a large-scale reconstruction on December 23, 2016. This unique exhibition space was created on the basis of the Art Gallery of the Rumyantsev Museum. Thanks to the reconstruction, the hall turned into a modern art space, where treasures from the RSL funds are displayed. Modern exhibition design and breakthrough multimedia programs allow us to perceive books, manuscripts and circulation graphics in a new way.
The co-organizer of the exhibition on the Russian side will be ART Courier, which was established in 1997 and is one of the leading logistics companies in the Russian market specializing in organizing Russian and international exhibition projects, storing and transporting works of art from the collections of major museums in the world, as well as private collections.

Salon of high art and design as a curatorial project. Traditions and a contemporary look. Participants: Kalista Fenina, Phillips specialist in Russian art, Nikolai Koshelev, a young artist living in Moscow and New York, Vladimir Smirnov, collector, co-owner of the Foundation of Vladimir Smirnov and Konstantin Sorokin.
