The talent of Ksan Kron revealed during his life in Russia. It was here that his art took off. And we are especially pleased to demonstrate his work in Russia, ”Sasonko emphasized.
The program of the event was rich and interesting.
After welcoming speeches, a sightseeing tour of the vernissage took place, in which more than 50 works by the Kron married couple were presented, showing the stages of a creative biography. The guests were especially interested in the landmark works of artists that fully reflected the avant-garde discoveries of the 20th century: “Still Life with a Jug”, “White Nights”, “Church in Kiev”, “Cellist”, “Violets”. Also at the exhibition are two works of his son - Oleg Kron from the collection of Irina and Oleg Polovinkin (Norway).
Throughout the evening, the guests watched with interest the students from the Moscow Architectural Institute (MARCHI), who made a generalized copy of two paintings by Kronov with the “working” title “on the way to abstraction”, under the guidance of Professor Shulika Tatyana Olegovna.
The event ended with a lottery. The works of students were presented as lots - creative copying of paintings by Ksan Kron “Voyeur” and “Flowers in a White Vase” by Julia Kron, as well as a book about the artist by Norwegian author Kari Lien. The owner of My Wine Set Wine Club Gelena Greshner presented gifts from sponsors - Mistral Alco Wine Trading Company and My Wine Set Wine Club: sparkling Italian wine Ef & Pi Spumante Bianco Dolce and Spanish Castillo Santa Barbara Gran Reserva DO. Guests enjoyed these wines, as well as cocktails based on Chronos cognac throughout the evening.
A festive buffet reception, draws and gifts, free communication in an informal atmosphere made the evening comfortable and cozy. And the works of Edward Grieg, performed by a string quartet of Mosconcert soloists, emphasized the Norwegian style of the evening.
The chamber site of the Mikhailov Gallery turned out to be ideal for discussions, discussions of urgent problems of modern culture and art.
