Rostislav Mashin was born and raised in Moscow, graduated from Moscow State Agricultural Academy, after graduation he worked at the Department of Descriptive Geometry and Graphics, combining teaching and designing with photography and studying the geometry of wildlife. A member of the Russian Geographical Society and the Russian Photo Club, the photographer of the magazine Russian Photo, made many trips and photo expeditions to the most unknown and interesting corners of our country - from the Komi Republic to Baikal, Buryatia and the Kamchatka Territory. Works mainly in two favorite genres - landscape and macro photography.
