The joint Russian-Chinese exhibition project “VICTORY DEDICATE” is a unique communication experience in the field of culture and art.
The significance of the presented interstate project can hardly be overestimated, since the creative work of students from Russia and China is that cultural section that forms the idea of the intellectual and professional level of young artists of both countries today.
The name of the exhibition - “DEDICATE VICTORY” - reflects the basic concept of the exposition, which, on the one hand, keeps the memory of the defenders of the Motherland, and on the other hand, tells about a new round of life. About the world as it should be, and about people who rejoice at the opportunity to share with loved ones the value of each new day.
Russia celebrates the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, China honors the seventieth anniversary of the Victory in the War of Resistance to the Japanese invaders in China. Bonded by a single tribute to the heroic past of both countries, representatives of the cultural area are turning their eyes to the future - the development of the spiritual potential of young professionals in the field of fine art.
The founders and organizers of the project consider it their duty to support the youth of the two countries and provide them with the opportunity to express themselves creatively. The tendencies of development of a full-fledged, harmonious society will depend on their not youthfully mature beliefs and a positive vector of consciousness.
The Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I.Surikov for many years has been accepting talented students from China, instilling in them the traditions of the Moscow school of painting, which exists in the context of the global traditions of professional fine art. The exhibition presents the work of students of the Institute of different years, from paintings and graphic sheets of those masters who at one time survived the war, to paintings, drawings and sculptures created by young Russian and Chinese contemporaries.
The exposition space also features photographs taken by Chinese and Russian students and interns during their studies at the universities of the partner country. The pictures of the winners - Chinese and Russian participants in the photo contest - capture the brightest moments of their student life abroad. Along with fine art and photography, one can see the works of young Russian laureates of the Chinese calligraphy contest, who with a solid pen demonstrate extraordinary skills in this amazing ancient art form.
The experimental design of the festival was that the creative youth of the two countries, interpenetrating each other’s life and mentality, would interpret them creatively. So there were paintings, graphics, photography and calligraphy created by Russian and Chinese students on the impressions of exchange trips to Russia and China. The use of various art techniques allowed students and graduates to find their own unique author’s language of plastic utterance.
The exhibition “VICTORY DEDICATE”, which takes place in the halls of the Central House of Artists in Moscow, is a reflection of the originality of the foundations and cultural and historical values that exist in both countries. The subject includes various aspects of human life. Participation in such an exhibition becomes a step for artists to upgrade, to increase the level of skill, in practice showing what it means to "work in a team."
Thus, the exposition space becomes a field of creative growth, expanding its horizons towards those who are interested in development, who are ready for communication and learning new things. For those who are waiting for a full of discoveries and insights creative life.
