In total, the organizers managed to collect more than 500,000 rubles. Part of this amount will be used to perform heart surgery on 11-year-old Evgenia Nazarenko. The remaining funds will go to the treatment of other seriously ill children.
The exhibition "Our Friend Larionov" opened at the Museum of Decorative Arts on February 8 and will last until the end of February. The exhibition is dedicated to the work of one of the founders of the Russian avant-garde Mikhail Larionov and, according to the curator Yulia Hambartsumyan, will make it possible to trace its influence on today’s artists internationally. The initiative of the project “Our friend Larionov” belongs to the British side. In 2014, a similar exhibition was successfully held at the Pushkin House in London. Having moved to Russia, the project acquired international status. Billy Chaydishev, Edgeworth Johnston and Harry Adams were joined by famous Russian painters who draw inspiration from the work of the great Larionov - Anna Birshtein, Ekaterina Kornilova, Maria Suvorova and Alexey Charugin.
The exhibition “Our Friend Larionov” and a charity auction dedicated to it develop the key idea of a partnership between the ART PROJECT and the Life Line charity fund - attracting public attention to the idea of charity through vivid art events.
