The Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts opens the exhibition “Retro 3D” from the private collection of Valery Krugov.
The exhibition is based on a collection of authentic stereo pairs from the late 19th to early 20th centuries. The exhibits are organized into blocks on different topics, showing the life of those years, architecture, significant events of historical places, as well as people.
At the exhibition, viewers will see three-dimensional paintings made using lenticular printing technology, which makes it possible to obtain a three-dimensional image with natural color rendition and provides the image with the effect of reality.
In addition to stereo pairs of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. and their three-dimensional images made using modern 3D technologies, viewers will see at the exhibition stereoscopes and stereo cameras from past centuries, and will be able to see reprints of stereo pairs presented at the exhibition through modern copies of stereoscopes. A photo zone with a model of an antique stereo camera will perfectly complement the impression of the exhibition.
In addition, visitors to the exhibition will be able to use an audio guide, purchase souvenirs and take memorable photographs against the backdrop of ancient exhibits.
We invite you to visit a wonderful exhibition, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of retro photography and get positive emotions.
