Sculpture exhibition “Work of the Year. 2022" at the MVK RAH.

The annual project "Work of the Year", organized by the Department of Sculpture of the Russian Academy of Arts, introduces the viewer to the work of the leading masters of Russia, who today determine the high level of world artistic plasticity. The exposition presents more than 40 easel works created by academicians and corresponding members of the Department during 2022.

The sharpness of compositional and spatial solutions, the variety of plastic language, original images and forms give high artistic value to both the presented works and the exhibition as a whole. The cultural "polyphony" of creativity is one of the main features of our time.

These works make it possible to identify the main directions in the development of modern sculpture, the features of shaping, compositional construction, and demonstrate the variety of figurative and stylistic solutions of easel sculptures. The exhibition reveals the diversity of art trends of our time and is a great opportunity to see the works of the largest masters of sculpture.
