On August 29, from 19.00 to 23.00 in the territory of the Aqueduct Park in Rostokino, the one-day festival Elektropiknik will be held, where masters of modern audiovisual art will meet.
The electric picnic will summarize the results of the more than six-month program of the audio-video club “Media is a message”, which collects video artists, sound artists, creative programmers and computer artists at the Electromuseum.
Festival guests will enjoy performances by young and already well-known sound artists, impressive video projections and live multimedia performances, and the Aqueduct Park will become a welcoming venue for all lovers of contemporary art.
The event was prepared by the Electromuseum of the Exhibition Halls of Moscow Association with the support of Sokolniki Park.

The “Electric Museum in Rostokino” is the venue of the Moscow Exhibition Halls association, the main direction of which is modern media culture in the broadest sense. The curators are Alexey Shulgin and Aristarkh Chernyshev, well-known media artists, teachers of the Rodchenko School, and veterans of the audio and video scene.
The audio and video club “Media is a message” is a creative platform for media artists created at the Electromuseum in January 2015. The goal of the project is to stimulate creative processes in creating new projects and objects of modern culture.
Park "Aqueduct" is a recreation park located in the Rostokino area. On the territory of the park is the famous Rostokinsky aqueduct, built under Catherine II. It is part of the Sokolniki recreation park.
