Tatyana Aleksandrovna Kochemasova - Vice President and Member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts, Head of the Scientific and Organizational Directorate for Coordination of Fundamental Research Programs and Innovative Projects of the Russian Academy of Arts, Deputy Head of the UNESCO International Department of Fine Arts and Architecture under the Russian Academy of Arts, Member of the Coordinating Council for Youth in Scientific and educational areas under the Council under the President of the Russian Federation on science, technology and education.
She graduated from the Faculty of Theory and History of Arts of Moscow State Art Institute named after IN AND. Surikov. Candidate of art history, researcher at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. T. A. Kochemasova is the author of numerous articles on the problems of contemporary Russian art in magazines and scientific collections, catalogs, the author-compiler of a number of scientific collections of the Russian Academy of Arts.
Tatyana Alexandrovna did not receive a professional art education, but her life was always closely connected with art. Here is what the author tells about the beginning of his career:
“Like all normal children, I naturally painted. I really loved this business. Since childhood, a special love for the animal world came to me. Largely thanks to my father. He sculpted well from plasticine, he loved animals very much and made me different animals.
In my art classes my aunt helped me - also Tatyana, artist and art critic Tatyana Obraztsova. With her, when there was time, we drew a little from life, tried to put still lifes, learn the basics of anatomy. Her unforgettable image in a swimsuit and a hat with a sketchbook in the summer fields of the Moscow region was very inspired by the measure of freedom that is inherent in the profession of an artist. In general, we can say that she is my first teacher and mentor!
After college, there was almost no time, and I almost abandoned painting classes. And she returned to them only a few years later, when she suddenly sat down to paint with the children at the master class of Zurab Tsereteli, here, in the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts on Prechistenka. I remember Zurab Konstantinovich went around the children, looked at who had what happened, and at the same time looked at me and several colleagues at the Academy, saying: “Well done! Go on! ” And let these words be a manifestation of kindness and condescension, which Zurab Konstantinovich should not occupy. Nevertheless, it inspired to return to the “space of joy”, which once gave so much strength and, most importantly, positive emotions. ”
Painting for Tatyana Kochemasova is not just a hobby, but the realization of a conscious need to do art, which appeared under the influence of difficult life situations. The process of creativity gives her great joy.
Her works are filled with special life-affirming energy, and the palette is rich, vibrant colors. Picturesque landscapes, portraits and still lifes are made with a confident stroke. Graphic works harmoniously combine the clarity of lines and translucent color tinting. Tatyana Kochemasova’s creativity is characterized by artistic integrity and simplicity, freshness of observations and images.
“And what pleases and inspires me personally? Everything is corny - nature, people around whom I love, their beautiful eyes and gentle smiles. The world around us is bright, ambiguous, always interesting and ready to give emotions. Joy or sadness, passion or pacification, love and pain, all this penetrates in some shades into the texture of canvases and paints. But for me, all this is persistently determined by the "space of joy", because all this is the life in which you find your way. "
