CRISIS OF IMPAIRMENT
“The Crisis of Outrage” is the famous book of Mikhail Livshits in 1968, in which, from the point of view of Marxism, contemporary Western art was criticized in detail - from cubism to pop art. All evolution in the art of the 20th century was presented in the book as degradation. The book was the only Russian edition of the time in which reproductions of contemporary Western artists were presented.
