Project "Magic" in Gallery A3 Automatic translate
On the eve of the New Year and Christmas holidays, ending the exhibition season - 2014, Gallery A3 shows a special project called “Magic”. We make it for the most demanding, but at the same time the most open and unbiased viewers - for children. However, this is not a "children’s exhibition" in the usual sense - it is composed of quite adult works placed in a kind of "horizon of perception" of the child.
In a traditional museum, as a rule, work is located at a considerable distance, which inevitably complicates communication with a small audience, while it requires the most permissible contact. We want to give children the opportunity to consider work with the same convenience that adults use, to make them full viewers.
Artists of different directions, techniques, ways of expression, at the request of the gallery, provided those of their works that, in their opinion, most accurately represent the quality of the “magical”. Riddles of the creative process, unpredictability, elements of random, unexpected solutions are what fascinates the artist and makes the work especially attractive, mysterious and magical combined the participants of this exhibition.
The "main culprits" of this event will be able to become not only passive spectators, but also be included in the co-creation process proposed by some authors.
