The rustling of angels is the digital flicker of artists projecting joy into a great void. The future here and now is filled with ambiguity and fear, which, according to the curator, is a trace of the impossibility of understanding the imperfect.
“Artists, like being angels, project into the retina of the sighted possibility of tomorrow’s being. The exhibition is built on the line of combining utopian dreams and ordeals characteristic of Russian culture, manifested against the backdrop of an overwhelming exciting fear “here and now” ”, the curator of the project explains.
The project "The rustling of angels" will be implemented on the new site of the Association "Exhibition Halls of Moscow" - ELECTROMUSEUM - created on the basis of the Rostokino exhibition hall (Rostokinskaya St., 1). Its main focus will be media art. The curators of the Electromuseum - famous artists Alexey Shulgin and Aristarkh Chernyshev (Electroboutique) - are planning exhibitions of young and eminent media artists - both Russian and foreign, concerts, educational programs, as well as Russia’s first permanent sound art gallery and an exhibition of the work of Electroboutique.
