The Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) and the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center are launching the fourth season of the And What’s Next? - a program for teenagers about choosing a profession in the field of culture.
In nine classes, which will be held from February 13 to April 24, participants will be able to find answers to questions: what do cultural specialists do and what to do if you are not an artist or musician, what kind of education is needed for work and whether it is needed at all, why in in the field of culture, it is so important to be able to come up with projects and what skills are needed for this. In the course of the classes, the guys will come up with and prepare a real board game for themselves and their friends about how a young specialist can realize himself in the field of culture in order to understand how work on a real cultural project is built: from an idea to a presentation.
The program is intended for anyone who is interested in contemporary culture and wants to understand who creates it and how, who is interested in learning what it is like to work on cultural projects, and who has already decided that they want to build a career in the field of culture, but do not yet know how to what to start.
As a result, participants will learn how to plan their future career, receive materials and checklists for analyzing their own interests and setting career goals, and try their hand at team project work.
