The basis of the solo performance “PRO LOVE”, directed by Irina Kondrashova and artist Julia Vetrova, was based on five excerpts from well-known works: V. Nabokov “Lolita”, E. Grishkovets “I am good”, A. Kuprin “Pit”, V. Shukshin “ Alyosha the Infinite ", as well as I. Babel’s" The Tale of Baba. " The director turned to these authors in an attempt to find the answer to one of the most exciting questions for mankind: "What is love?".

Throughout the action, the actor Denis Tkachev, with the help of makeup, costumes and various props, transforms into the five heroes of these works, experiencing love stories of different eras, social layers and worldviews. Each corner of the apartment-scene becomes a new scene and demonstrates the next side of the multifaceted feeling of “Love”.

“I was led to the production of this performance by a seemingly simple and at the same time difficult question:“ What is love? ”- I suddenly found that the exact answer simply does not exist in my head or heart. And moreover, there is no universal definition of love; everyone has their own love. And is it really, love, the one that ennobles the soul and plunges into hellish torment? During the rehearsals, I wanted to find the answer, looked from different angles and… the answer came, ”commented the director Irina Kondrashova.

Irina Kondrashova is already the owner of several prestigious awards: Award of Excellence Los Angeles Movie Awards for the script “Soulless People”. Thanks to the “Walk” project, Irina became the winner of the Multimedia Projects competition in the Circular cinema panorama in the nomination “Projects of theatrical productions with media elements”. She also received a prize for best actress at the 27th VGIK festival for the film "Elsa" directed by E. Skoda.
