Also, the photographer will tell about his personal experience of becoming in this art form and give advice to those who are interested in the practical side of ballet photography and want to try themselves in this field.
Alex Pankov will tell:
- how the history of ballet photography evolved from its origins to modern times;
- photography of ballet as a craft and as an art;
- The most important names in Western and Russian ballet photography;
- what are the features of the genres of ballet photography: stage, studio shooting, backstage;
- the modern trend of ballet photography on the street and in nature;

Alex Pankov was born in 1986 in Moscow. Studied directing. Since 2009, she has been working at the Classical Ballet Theater in Moscow. He started shooting the dance with the filing of his muse by the ballerina Ekaterina Belovodskaya. Now, on the basis of Triple View Studios in Moscow, Alex Pankov conducts many photo sessions of professional dancers. Alex works at the most important ballet events in the country, such as Kremlin Gala, Context. Diana Vishneva, Christmas Gala, Dance Open. Collaborates with Ballet Insider, Andris Liepa Production. Alex Pankov is a member of Anna Pavlova Network, an international association of professional ballet photographers, and a regular contributor to www.annapavlova.network.
